Upside down life - Based on the sermon on the mount...what are some of the ideas you may have for staging, drama, video, and the like. For now, this blog will be our white board so to speak. A few of the ideas that were mentioned Tuesday night -
Staging -
Replicate stage on screens upside down
Balloons hung upsd from ceiling
4 x 5 camera effect on screen (Dan you can elaborate on this)
Sand box structure for 1st week's message - This is a request of Matt
Video -
Written word and pic video with upside down scenes (walking on hands through a crowd, traffic upsd, etc.)
Drama -
Skit Guys drama on prayer - Matt's request - we will need to pare this down to 3-5 minutes...here you go...
Had another idea on the board Photography/Posing (but I forget the premise, could someone help me out:)

ReplyDeleteWould you ask Matt if he can give us a question that will help narrow the generation of our ideas for the skit on prayer? For example, "Does God want us to use a special language or posture when we pray?" Or, "Does God want us to pray about small details or just big issues in our lives?" I think this will help align the skit with Matt's teaching.

ReplyDeleteMatt and I talked and we think that a good focus for the drama would be long eloquent prayers and praying in public, these are really highlighted in the passages we are looking at. Thanks!

Creative Group Meeting (CGM) to refine ideas from your input w/o 10/19. (One or two writers synthesize and refine ideas after meeting).
Final script approval w/o 10/26. Request for props & staging w/o 10/26.
Practice w/o 11/2.
Final practice with sound, lighting and props w/o 11/9.
Sunday performance 11/15/09.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds great...I know that we are past the 10/12 deadline, but if you could come up with a bit of a script for the drama that would be great. We can then go with it a bit and throw it out to the rest to the team and get it done quickly. Sorry for the late post, I missed your last comment last time I logged on.
